Position: Home Health Aide (HHA)

Salary: $13 - $15 per hour

Position Description:

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services to meet patient needs. This position is based in Baltimore, OH, working with a pediatric client. Day hours are available.

The HHA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing personal care services in accordance with Maxim’s standards and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Observe and document patient condition, reporting changes to the nurse supervisor.
2. Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and the office.
3. Complete Maxim’s Competency Program successfully.
4. Practice within the scope of your certificate/license.
5. Follow the patient’s care plan and complete assigned tasks.
6. Adhere to company policies, documentation standards, and professional boundaries.
7. Commit to providing quality, competent patient care.
8. Complete all required trainings timely.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Meet all training requirements per state and federal laws.
2. Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care.
3. Maintain current CPR certification.
4. Complete PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
5. Complete Maxim screening examinations and competency program.
6. Meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
7. Proficiency in English.
8. Excellent communication skills.
9. Technological proficiency, including mobile documentation devices.
