Job summary

LIFE PACE is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to join our LIFE Senior Services, Inc. team. This part-time role involves in-home care for seniors, with Saturday shifts (8AM-12PM or 5PM-9PM) starting at $17.50 per hour, and a strong emphasis on safety, independence, and client wellbeing.

You will perform personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands while documenting services and collaborating with the care team to provide exceptional support to clients and families.

Qualifications

• Certification as Oklahoma Long-Term Care Aide or Home Health Aide required.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• CPR/First Aid certification obtainable upon hire.
• One year of CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility).
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Support errands and grocery shopping for clients.
• Encourage independence while offering assistance as needed.

Do you have a passion for helping others live safely and independently in their own homes? At LIFE PACE we’re looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our HomeCare team. As a HomeCare Aide, you’ll build meaningful relationships while providing essential support that allows older adults to maintain their independence and quality of life.

What You’ll Do

As a HomeCare Aide, you’ll provide personalized, in-home assistance to seniors, including:

• Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, feeding, and mobility.
• Supporting clients with light housekeeping, including laundry, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and making beds.
• Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping and other errands.
• Encouraging clients to remain as independent and active as possible while providing support.
• Monitoring and documenting services provided, participant wellbeing, and any incidents or concerns.
• Maintaining a safe home environment and following proper lifting and body mechanics.
• Working collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members while providing exceptional customer service to clients and families.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, transferring clients, and performing physical tasks throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and safely assist with client mobility. Daily travel to client homes is required.
