LENA is seeking Homemakers / Home Care Aides to join our team in Rockford, IL. You will assist clients to stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home, providing housekeeping, meal prep, errands, transportation, and companionship with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Valid automobile insurance may be required.
• Must pass agency exam with a score of 75% or higher.
• Must be in good physical health.

Position Summary

Homemakers provide essential in-home support to individuals who need assistance due to age, illness, disability, or other health-related conditions. Services may include housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, errands, transportation, companionship, and respite support.

Our Homemakers play an important role in improving the quality of life of our clients by delivering care in a respectful, compassionate, and professional manner, in accordance with agency policies and industry standards.

Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to the Supervisor.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

The homemaker must pass agency exam with 75% or better.

In good physical health.

Qualifications

Related training or experience is a plus
