Job summary

EFitz Logistics is seeking a Regional Class A Driver to operate a tractor-trailer and transport goods across the region, reporting to the Logistics Manager. Your core driving and vehicle operation skills will be essential to maintain timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.

You will apply experience with manual transmissions and refrigerated trailers, and follow loading/unloading procedures. Maintain safety standards and teamwork to ensure reliable service for our Northeast routes.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A license.
• 6 months of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience in the last 2 years.
• You must be at least 21 years old.
• Residence in New Jersey required.
• No SAP drivers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Participate in employee orientation and training programs as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate deliveries.

Job Details

• Average Weekly Pay: .68cpm - .71cpm. Average $1,700-$1775 every week.


• Home time: Home every weekend for a minimum of 48 hours, 5-day work week.


• Average Miles per week: Depends on how many short hauls/long hauls


• Running area: The Northeast, stopping no further north than Maine, no further south than Atlanta, and no further west than Indiana or Illinois.


• Type of Trucks: Freightliner Cascadia trucks from model years 2021 to 2024, all double-bunk.


• Freight type: No-Touch. Drop and Hook.
