AmeriCorps is hiring for HIPPYCorps in COLORADO. The home visitor role works with parents and children, delivering weekly visits in families' homes and guiding them through the weekly curriculum.

The position emphasizes hands-on parent-child activities, data collection, and collaboration with the HIPPY Coordinator to design effective home visits. Role requires weekly in-home visits, part-time scheduling, and participation in group activities.

Competenze

• Experience assisting families with early childhood education.
• Ability to conduct home visits and document progress.
• Strong interpersonal and data collection skills.

Mansioni

• Recruit and enroll 13 families into the HIPPY Program.
• Participate in weekly role play and staff development activities.
• Execute the curriculum with his/her own child or “practice” child daily.
• Complete weekly home visits and time reports, enrollment forms, parent surveys, and all paperwork associated with the HIPPY Program.
• Meet and role play the curriculum with assigned families each week.
• Collaborate with HIPPY Coordinator on HIPPY home-visit design, including the creation and maintenance of a yearly program calendar.
• Participate in all sponsored HIPPY activities (e.g. field trips, graduations, awards ceremonies, etc.)
• Assist the HIPPY Coordinator in maintaining an efficient record-keeping system for participating families.
