Job summary

Tresco, Inc. is hiring a Home Visiting Specialist to support families through home visits, delivering Parents as Teachers curriculum, and connecting families with essential resources.

The role involves direct service (in-person or virtual), caseload management, and collaboration with the Family Services team to meet plan outcomes. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; at least 15 higher education credits.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in social work, Early Childhood Development, Counseling, Infant Family Studies, or related field.
• Experience in Home Visiting, Early Intervention, or Early Childhood work is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a criminal record clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and assessments to support family needs.
• Deliver Parents as Teachers curriculum to guide parents in child development.
• Provide direct home visit services face-to-face or virtually.
• Support families with health care access, referrals, and follow-ups.
• Encourage parent engagement and positive parent-child relationships.
• Address safety concerns and developmental milestones.
• Maintain caseloads of 15 to 28 families, ensuring active engagement.
• Enter client data into the system within 5 days of service.
• Participate in reflective supervision twice a month.

Are you passionate about supporting children and families? Tresco is seeking compassionate and motivated Home Visiting Specialists to join our Family Services team. In this role, you’ll provide personalized support to families through home visits, helping parents strengthen relationships, access resources, and create a nurturing environment for their children to thrive.

What You’ll Do

Conduct screenings and assessments to support family needs

Maintain caseloads of 15 to 28 families, ensuring at least 80% are actively engaged

Enter client data into the system within 5 days of service

Participate in reflective supervision twice a month

Collaborate with a dedicated team to achieve Family Service Plan outcomes

Qualifications

Preferred: Bachelor's in social work, Early Childhood Development, Counseling, Infant Family Studies, or related field

Experience in Home Visiting, Early Intervention, or Early Childhood work
