Home Training Registered Nurse - Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) New

Job Responsibilities

The Home Training PD Registered Nurse evaluates and trains dialysis patients, care partners, and families for the home dialysis program. This position requires knowledge of patient rights, ensuring privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe environment. Familiarity with peritoneal dialysis equipment, procedures, and the skills to care for dialysis patients are essential.

Work Experience

• Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
• At least 12 months of nursing experience.
• Compliance with all state/licensing requirements.
• Additional 3 months experience in the specific modality if required by state regulations.
• Training and experience in peritoneal dialysis and/or home hemodialysis, including maintenance of dialysis access.
• Basic training certificates if less than 1 year in this modality.
• Supervisory and teaching experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and current CPR certification.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and communicate effectively with clients and staff.
