Job summary

Printfresh is seeking a highly creative Freelance Home & Lifestyle Design Lead to evolve our lifestyle categories, including bedding, tabletop, and decorative textiles. This 1099 role offers 10–20 hours weekly with 1–2 days in the Philadelphia office and the rest from home.

You will translate prints, color, and materiality into delightful, shoppable home experiences, collaborating across product development, merchandising, and marketing to shape cohesive collections.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in home design or decorative textiles for an elevated lifestyle brand.
• Strong knowledge of textile repeat layout, color theory, and materials for home.
• Ability to translate whimsical prints into sophisticated home goods.
• Experience with factories and vendors on product development and QC.
• Collaborative, organized, and strong PM skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; 3D mockups/rendering a plus.
• Strategic thinker with big-picture and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept and design of tabletop products and bedding textiles.
• Collaborate with the print team to adapt patterns for home applications.
• Develop new artwork concepts for home product formats and materials.
• Source materials balancing comfort, durability, beauty and responsible production.
• Stay ahead of home lifestyle trends; create seasonal inspiration decks.
• Partner with production, sourcing, and planning to manage lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Ensure clear tech packs and vendor communication; align with merchandising and marketing.
• Present concepts to teams and leadership to refine direction.
• Help create a unified product vision across the lifestyle business.
