Job summary

Vector Security is seeking a Home Technology Sales Representative to prospect and present Vector’s residential security products to homeowners, builders and small commercial owners, driving revenue while delivering outstanding service. You will develop relationships, manage assigned leads, document activities, and maintain a high closing percentage while meeting quotas.

The role offers base pay with uncapped earning potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma may suffice.
• Ability to prospect and develop new residential business.
• Experience selling and delivering customer value for Vector products.
• Proven closing skills and negotiation ability.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sell Vector’s residential solutions and achieve sales orders, RMR and unit targets.
• Generate opportunities through cold calling, community involvement, creating community partners, and engaging existing customers.
• Actively work assigned leads, document status, and maintain a high closing percentage.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge via ongoing training and required certifications.
• Educate customers about Vector Security products and services.
• Uphold relationships with clients to ensure they remain satisfied and their needs are met throughout the life of the customer.
• Identify ways to market products to new consumers, including identifying new target market segments/opportunities.

Summary:

As a Home Technology Sales Representative, you will prospect and present products and services to homeowners, builders, and small commercial owners . You will be r esponsible for selling to customers and growing their assigned market . Sales reps will e nsur e proper documentation for sales agreements and proposals, existing customer engagement, and continuous communication with management. Sales reps are responsible for meeting established quotas/sales performance targets.

Qualifications:

• Prospecting Skills:
  • In order toexpand residential business, it is important that residential sales repsbe able to build new relationships and generate new business for the company.
• Selling and Customer Service Experience:
  • Sales repsneedsto be able to interact with potential customers anddemonstratethe value of Vector’s products.
  • Demonstrated success inprevioussales positions.
• Closing Skills:
  • Must be able to close sales at a rate deemed acceptable by management to meet performance levels .
  • Must be able to overcome objections and have strong negotiation skills.
• Valid Driver's License
