Jobs and Business Glasgow seeks a Home Support Worker to assist service users across North East and West of the City. You will accompany clients on short social trips to cinema, shops, church and more, and provide all aspects of personal care.

Duties include meal provision, domestic and shopping support, and accurate documentation of care delivered; PVG clearance is required and you must provide two references. Drivers preferred but walking shifts considered for local, early/late hours.

Areas of work will include North East And West of City

Employer would prefer drivers, but will consider walking shifts if customers live local and are able to start early shifts and late finishes

Duties:

Accompany service users on short social journeys to cinema, shops, church etc.

Provide all aspects of personal care – bathing, toileting and dressing etc.

Assisting with meal provision, and ensuring all dietary requirements are maintained.

Provide a domestic and shopping service to service users.

Record in the relevant documentation the care that has been delivered contemporaneously. Provide information to enable the effectiveness of care to be evaluated and records maintained.
