Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for community outreach to establish local partnerships and positive relationships with SCP; notably for referral purposes and student needs.
• Provide parent resources and skills training to improve student success within the school environment.
• Participate in the RTI process for student behavioral and social-emotional needs.
• Implement and facilitate social-emotional learning (SEL) small groups.
• Lead the social-emotional focus for all students and staff at the building level.
• Lead the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) team.
• Participate in the retention process for students.
• Provide student discipline follow-up as part of a response team.
• Focus on attendance protocol and follow up with families to ensure policies are followed.
• Serves as a member of the SCSC Counseling team.
• Crisis Intervention Team Member
• Annual School Supplies Drive
• Implements and oversees Zones of Regulation
• Writes grants for funds to support family needs
• Other duties as assigned

Contractual Days: Beginning to End of School Year: One hundred ninety (190) days (180 student days plus 10 holidays).
