Job summary

Kubat HealthCare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive home care services, including delivery, setup, and patient follow-up. You will ensure infection control, proper equipment management, and timely communication with physicians.

The role involves coordinating with medical staff, maintaining patient records, and complying with all regulatory requirements. A Nebraska RCP license and insurability are required, with typical weekday hours and on-call weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Driver's license and ability to be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Provide delivery, setup, instruction, and follow-up for home care patients.
• Infection control, safety, and equipment management per policy.
• Consult with medical personnel on ordering home ventilators and supplies.
• Develop and maintain a service plan for rented equipment.
• Perform diagnostic or therapeutic studies and report results to physicians by phone/fax/mail.
• Maintain home care records for respiratory patients.
• Coordinate with physicians and referrals to ensure compliance and issue resolution.
• Assist with inventory control and monitor rental equipment levels.
• Maintain confidentiality and a safe working environment.
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws and certification requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
