Are you a licensed builder interested in teaching homeowners how they can make minor improvements in their home?

Job Details

We are looking for a home renovation exper t to instruct Saturday Home Renovation Workshops. Workshops will be held every Saturday from 9:30am-12:30pm & 1:30pm-4:30pm.

Responsibilities

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in home renovation contractor work and have proficiency in a multitude of areas. Instructors will be asked to help develop the plans for the workshops. Note: candidates do not need to be able to teach all of those topics but can teach any that they feel comfortable with.

Workshop Topics

Workshop topics will include:

• rough carpentry
• finish carpentry
• introduction to power tools
• drywall mudding and taping
• cabinet installation
• ceramic tile installation
• and more

Qualifications

Candidates must be comfortable teaching groups of 10-20 at a time. Instructors should expect students to have little to no prior knowledge in these areas.
