Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10–15 years of surety underwriting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Progress toward or completion of a professional designation preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Financial Products Underwriting operations to ensure workflow efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Production Underwriting team aligned with business goals.
• Assess underwritten risk quality and volume; compile reports for actionable insights.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Guide evaluation of policy renewals and modifications; recommend improvements and risk measures.
• Monitor customer service delivery by analyzing management reports on service levels and experience.
• Oversee product and service promotions to align with market growth objectives and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting rules, rating manuals, and regulations; oversee updates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
