Overview

The Edward Jones Rotational Development Program (RDP) is a fourteen‑month experience providing a combination of rotational assignments, mentoring, and professional development to build skills, expertise and insight across business areas critical to the firm. By working collaboratively with program peers, program leaders and business areas, participants build a portfolio of experience while advancing valuable work on behalf of the firm.

RDP associates earn their Security Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 7 licenses. The program includes one licensing‑preparation study rotation, two rotations within the associate's assigned division, and one rotation outside of their assigned division to broaden their perspective and understanding of the firm.

Program Inclusions
  • Paid full‑time study to obtain the required SIE and Series 7 licenses . The Series 66 is also required for program participants who spend a rotation in the Wealth Management function.
  • Opportunities for project and thought leadership through meaningful, impactful assignments.
  • Assigned mentors who provide advice and guidance throughout the program to support career growth and personal development.
  • Access to the firm's RDP alumni network to gain valuable insight and mentorship
  • Ongoing engagement and support from program leadership and cohort peers
  • RDP Associates are required to obtain their Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 Top‑Off within the first twelve weeks of their start date.

  • Students who are working towards a bachelor's degree with a graduation date of May 2027 or December 2027

Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week
