Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a CDL driver to deliver fabricated rebar, scrap, and other materials while staying safe, compliant, and on schedule. You’ll work with production teams and customers to ensure accurate loads and timely deliveries, with a path to growth within our logistics network.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, and at least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with Day 1 benefits, PTO, and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1 year verifiable tractor/trailer experience (flatbed over-the-road preferred).
• No more than 1 moving violation in 3 years.
• Clean driving record; pass DOT and company drug testing programs and physicals.
• Valid Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and coordinate with production, sales, and customers.
• Operate safely and follow PPE rules and safety regulations.
• Ensure vehicle is properly loaded and loads are secured; inspect for safety and defects.
• Inventory and inspect goods to determine quantities and conditions.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service status.
