Job summary

Citizens in Franklin, TN is seeking a Home Mortgage Post Closing Specialist to manage warehouse unpurchased loan pipelines and perfect documents for delivery to investors or insurers. You will perform compliance audits, address post-closing issues, coordinate with title companies, and resolve loan deficiencies to insure or guarantee government loans.

This is an in-office role with a 40-hour week, based in Franklin, Tennessee.

Description

As the Home Mortgage Post Closing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing warehouse unpurchased loan pipelines, obtaining necessary documentation to perfect a loan for delivery to investors or insurance with an agency, performing compliance and ad hoc audits, providing suspense and error trend analysis to the operations centers and addressing other issues which may arise after loan closing. You will be responsible for a variety of functions within post-closing including but not limited to; clearing investor or agency suspense conditions, working with EMB lenders, title companies or counties to address outstanding final documents, working with borrowers to address loan deficiencies to allow insuring or guaranty of government loans, management of the escrow holdback process, performing compliance audits, ordering property inspections on properties located in disaster areas and resolving other issues which arise post-closing.

Primary responsibilities include

• Review and audit required closing documents from closing agents and ensure all funding conditions have been satisfied including reviewing and auditing all original and final CD closing disclosure for any changes.

• Ensure all loan documents meet applicable Citizens Bank, State and Federal compliance regulations.

• Coordinate with closing agent and broker to gather any missing items at closing.

• Final document follow up.

• Release funding number to closing agent once all reviews and audits are complete.

• Disaster Inspections.
