Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients\' homes, clinics, or other settings.

You will educate patients and caregivers, perform assessments, and ensure safety and proper device operation while maintaining HIPAA and safety standards. A HS diploma and valid license are required, with healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
