Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Delivery Driver to safely deliver, set up and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and other settings. Education of patients and caregivers on proper use and safety is a key part of the role.

Includes maintaining equipment, documenting activities for reimbursement, and adhering to HIPAA, infection control, and PPE guidelines while operating a company vehicle. On-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Customer service and field-based experience required or preferred.
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and safety.
• Comfort with performing routine maintenance and basic repairs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and ensure timely submission for patient care and reimbursement.
• Comply with HIPAA, infection control standards, PPE usage, and company policies.
• Safely operate company vehicle and participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
