Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Medical Equipment Delivery Driver to safely transport, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment at patients’ homes, clinics, or long-term care settings.

You will educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, perform routine equipment maintenance, and maintain accurate documentation while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. This on-site role requires a valid license and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of home medical equipment (HME) products and regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and follow-up to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of equipment.
• Deliver, set up, and retrieve equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Complete documentation accurately to support patient care and reimbursement.
