Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC in the United States seeks a Medical Equipment Delivery Driver to safely deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, or long-term care settings.

You will educate patients and caregivers, maintain equipment, respond to issues, and ensure HIPAA compliance. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required; prior healthcare or delivery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, Field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Respond to patient equipment issues, including under emergency conditions when required.
• Maintain home oxygen systems through scheduled patient visits.
• Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle.
• Complete required compliance training and participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
