Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union in California is seeking a Home Loan Processing Specialist to support loan transactions remotely. You will coordinate information with Members, Home Loan Advisors and Vendors, order title reports, and upload loan conditions into the LOS to ensure complete tracking.

You will assist with pipeline management, manage call overflow, and stay compliant with BSA, RESPA, TILA, TRID and AML regulations. The role emphasizes meeting service levels, efficiency, and loan quality.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Successful completion of High School curriculum preferred
• Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of a High School diploma
• 2+ years mortgage lending experience, processing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate information with Members, Home Loan Advisors and Vendors on loan transaction as it relates to loan processing.
• Coordinate the ordering of all title reports, flood certificates and follow up on appraisal orders. Assist in collection of loan documentation needed for Processing.
• Prepare and upload loan conditions into the LOS (Loan Origination System) with all details for complete tracking purposes.
• Assist with Pipeline Management by performing status calls, requests for documentation and following up on ordered services.
• Assist with call overflow queue.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including BSA, RESPA, TILA, TRID and AML laws appropriate to the position.
• Contribute to a) G1 service levels including turn times and member service scores, b) minimum efficiency levels established for position and c) minimum required loan quality.
• Complete Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) information.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of Golden 1 Credit Union and investor program, guidelines, policy and procedure.
• Perform functions in accordance with Golden 1’s performance competency standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
