Job summary

Pulte Mortgage in Mission Viejo, CA seeks a Mortgage Financing Advisor to guide buyers through precontract and preapproval discussions, training builder sales teams and managing loan backlogs. This non-origination role supports loans originated through central operations while serving as a liaison to Mortgage Operations.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in mortgage lending, strong sales experience, and VMS Office proficiency, with a willingness to travel to sales communities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data reporting.
• Sales and/or business development experience recommended.
• Active NMLS license preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Meet with buyer prospects to provide financial guidance and preapproval services.
• Sell the value of Pulte Mortgage to potential buyers seeking financing; set expectations for application and documentation.
• Build relationships with PulteGroup sales consultants and centralized operations teams.
• Ensure smooth transition from pre-contract activities to loan application with Mortgage Operations.
• Provide loan backlog status visibility during weekly builder meetings and support pipeline progress.
