Job summary

West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District is seeking an Elementary and Special Education certified educator to deliver home instruction for a primary-grade student. This position provides direct, one-on-one in-person instruction to support educational continuity during homebound status.

The role is part-time and paid at $50.00 per hour, with up to 10 hours per week. Successful candidates will hold NJDOE certification, complete district approval processes, and comply with retirement rules

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate.
• Successful completion of substitute/Board of Education approval process.
• Compliance with state post-retirement employment rules (180-day separation for WW-P retirees; 30-day for others).

Responsibilities

• Deliver home instruction aligned with district curriculum standards and coursework goals.
• Coordinate with district staff and subject-area teachers to obtain materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Maintain precise records of instructional hours, student attendance, and academic progress.
• Submit required home instruction logs and paperwork in a timely manner.
