Job summary

Mobility Works is seeking a Home Access Installation Technician to install and service adaptive equipment across homes. You will perform mechanical and electrical installations of stair lifts, patient lifts, ceiling lifts, ramps, and related mobility devices, prioritizing safety and quality. Independent work and occasional travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience installing and servicing stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, and ceiling lifts.
• Valid driver's license and insurability for company vehicles.
• Strong electrical and wiring skills, including low-voltage electrical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Background in garage doors, HVAC, or construction is a plus.
• General construction experience is required.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and manufacturer applications.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performing mechanical and electrical installations and maintenance of adaptive equipment, including Stair Lifts, Patient Lifts, Scooter transports, Ceiling Lifts, Power Wheelchairs/Scooters, and other Mobility & Accessibility Equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing previously installed equipment and adaptations.
• Conducting thorough testing to ensure the quality of installations and repairs.
• Identifying and troubleshooting issues with equipment and adaptations.
• Following written service orders accurately to complete tasks.
• Upholding a high level of quality in adherence to company standards.
