Job summary

Home Inspection Services is seeking a Home Inspector to perform on-site inspections in Sarasota County, FL, including Wind Mitigation, 4-Point, Roof, Opening Protection, and underwriting documentation. The contractor will complete all inspection paperwork, photos, and notes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (a 4-year degree is preferred), an active Home Inspector or Contractor license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; a 4-year degree preferred; a minimum of three (3) year experience in the field or related field and/or training.
• Home Inspector License and/or Contractor’s license
• Clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and dependable transportation required.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for conducting on-site inspections for Wind Mitigation (1802), 4-Point, Roof, Opening Protection, and Under Writing. Completing all inspection paperwork, photos, and notes associated with above inspections. Incumbent may be cross-trained to perform Adjusting and/or Restoration Services. We are looking for contractors that can work in the following areas:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advising homeowners of potential problems and Improvement opportunities;
• Arranging schedules when necessary;
• Preparing preliminary work schedules using MS Project;
• Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with the insured’s
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and assessing site conditions;
• Assist with emergency situations as needed;Other duties as assigned by management;
