Job summary

Home Inspection Services is seeking a Home Inspector contractor to perform on-site Wind Mitigation, 4-Point, Roof, OpeningProtection, and Under Writing inspections in Charlotte County, FL. You will complete inspection paperwork, photos, and notes, with potential cross-training into Adjusting and Restoration.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a 4-year degree preferred, and a valid Home Inspector or Contractor license.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; a 4-year degree preferred and 3+ years in the field or related training.
• Home Inspector License and/or Contractor’s license.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments as instructed.
• Effective presentation and communication with managers, customers, and insureds.
• Strong problem solving with varied, limited-standard tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections for Wind Mitigation, 4-Point, Roof, Opening Protection, and Under Writing.
• Complete inspection paperwork, photos, and notes for above inspections.
• Cross-train to perform Adjusting and/or Restoration Services as needed.
• Advising homeowners of potential problems and improvement opportunities.
• Arrange schedules when necessary and prepare preliminary work schedules.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with insured parties.
• Identify risks and assess site conditions; assist in emergencies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
