Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting seeks a dedicated Home Inspector to service residential properties across Massachusetts. You’ll inspect homes, explain findings to clients, and prepare detailed reports using industry software.

This role supports independence in the field and offers a clear path for career growth and higher earnings through performance-based incentives. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, client-focused, and capable of managing a field-based schedule while delivering exceptional service

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Home Inspector License preferred, or willingness and aptitude to be trained.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a field-based schedule.
• Detail-oriented with strong observational and reporting skills.
• Professional, client-focused approach.
• Experience with Spectora or similar inspection software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential home inspections throughout an assigned territory.
• Conduct infrared inspections and evaluate residential systems and structures.
• Educate clients during and after inspections.
• Complete detailed inspection reports using industry software.
• Perform or coordinate additional services such as radon testing and WDI/insect inspections.
• Utilize drone technology when applicable.
• Build relationships with referral partners and networking groups.
• Manage your schedule and territory while delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Opportunity

Join a rapidly growing residential home inspection organization serving homeowners and buyers throughout Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced licensed Home Inspector or a motivated professional looking to build a long-term career in a specialized and rewarding industry. You'll work independently in the field, help clients make informed decisions about one of their largest investments, and have a clear path for career advancement and increased earnings.

What You’ll Do:

Compensation:

• Paid training at $25/hour during onboarding
• After the training period, inspectors are compensated through a revenue-sharing model that rewards production and career growth, with clearly defined advancement tiers and strong earning potential.
