Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Warehouse Technician to assemble and package deliveries, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery to patient homes and infusion sites. This role supports ordering, receiving, stocking, and data entry of patient information.

The position emphasizes accurate order preparation, adherence to regulatory standards, and collaboration with Pharmacy and Customer Service to optimize delivery workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Meets state requirements for a Pharmacy Technician (registration, licensure or certification).

Responsibilities

• Develops positive working rapport with courier service and understands delivery operations, timing, after-hours service, and HIPAA/ACHC compliance.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and informs supervisor of mechanical issues; develops alternate delivery plans during emergencies.
• Gathers and checks compounding material prior to entry into the clean room; compounds sterile preparations as needed.
• Checks final product for particulate matter and container integrity; labels sterile preparations when allowed by state regulations.
• Coordinates delivery tickets and documents with Pharmacy to ensure timely processing and cost-effective delivery methods.
• Performs inventory control, stocking, and orientation for new warehouse team members.
• Performs routine maintenance, inventory counts, and prepares patient deliveries.
