Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate and manage patient home visit scheduling for Home Infusion Nursing services. You will maintain scheduling documentation in the EMR and raise staffing or operational barriers to Clinical Leadership.

This role provides operational and administrative support for scheduling workflows, staff onboarding, and device requests to promote efficient Home Infusion operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of scheduling/administrative support experience in healthcare.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, and telephone etiquette.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients, caregivers, clinicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to support customer service and patient experience.
• Coordinate home visit schedules among patients, nursing staff, and clinical operations teams.
• Prioritize urgent and time-sensitive infusion starts and ongoing patient care needs.
• Review clinician schedules and communicate staffing or operational concerns to Clinical Leadership.
• Coordinate onboarding support for new staff, including orientation scheduling and documentation.
• Submit and track organizational service requests for access, tech support, equipment setup, and workflows.
• Coordinate electronic device requests, deployment, tracking, and return with support departments.
