Job summary

Float Health connects patients with qualified RNs for in-home medication administration as an on-demand nursing service. Nurses work as independent contractors, choosing their own hours and locations, visiting to administer IV meds including IVIGs and monoclonal antibodies.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years hospital or home infusion experience, hold an RN or BSN with active license and BLS, and can place and maintain PIVs while delivering safe, compassionate care on the go.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hospital-based nursing or home infusion experience.
• Ability to place and maintain PIVs and administer IV infusions.
• Provide in-home patient care and education.
• RN or BSN with active license and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in the patient's home.

Float Health is an on-demand nursing service company. Float partners with specialty pharmacies to connect patients and nurses for in-home medication administration. Each nurse works as an independent nurse contractor to provide patients with IV medications, including IVIGs and monoclonal antibodies. Previous job experience required:

• 3-5+ years of hospital-based nursing or home infusion/infusion center

Responsibilities include:

• Providing one-on-one patient care and education in the comfort of their own home
• Utilize your clinical IV skills by placing and maintaining PIVs
• Administer IV infusions and medications to patients in a safe and efficient manner

Previous job experience preferred:

• Emergency Department, Infusion Center, Preoperative, Infusion Home Health, Critical Care, Transport

Required Education:

• RN or BSN

Required Documents:

• Current Active State Registered Nursing License or Compact Nurse License (NLC)
• Current BLS
• Proof of Nursing Liability Insurance

Pay:

$75.00 - $85.00 per hour
