Job summary

Float Health is an on-demand nursing service connecting patients with nurses for at-home medication administration. Nurses work as independent contractors with flexible scheduling and no obligation to accept a job.

We’re seeking infusion/oncology nurses to provide patient care at home, place and maintain PIVs, and administer IV infusions and medications with safety and efficiency, earning $75–$85 per hour. Experience preferred: 3–5+ years; RN or BSN; BLS.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state or compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proof of nursing liability insurance.
• 3–5+ years hospital-based nursing or home infusion experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care in the patient's home.
• Utilize IV skills to place and maintain PIVs.
• Administer IV infusions and medications safely and efficiently.

Previous job experience required:

• 3-5+ years of hospital-based nursing or home infusion/infusion center

Responsibilities include:

• Providing one-on-one patient care and education in the comfort of their own home
• Utilize your clinical IV skills by placing and maintaining PIVs
• Administer IV infusions and medications to patients in a safe and efficient manner

Previous job experience preferred:

• Emergency Department, Infusion Center, Preoperative, Infusion Home Health, Critical Care, Transport

Required Education:

• RN or BSN

Required Documents:

• Current Active State Registered Nursing License or Compact Nurse License (NLC)
• Current BLS
• Proof of Nursing Liability Insurance

Pay:

$75.00 - $85.00 per hour
