Job Title: Home Infusion RN, PRN at CSI Pharmacy

Join us at CSI Pharmacy as a Home Infusion RN, PRN and be part of our mission to provide specialized pharmacy services to patients with chronic and rare illnesses requiring complex care.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer Infusions and Injections: Deliver specialty medications via IV, subcutaneous injections, or other prescribed methods, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
2. Patient Assessment: Review medical history, allergies, medications, and vital signs before, during, and after infusions.
3. Education and Counseling: Educate patients and caregivers on medication use, side effects, and emergency management.
4. Monitoring and Follow-up: Observe patients during infusions, schedule follow-ups, and adjust care plans as needed.
5. Documentation: Keep accurate records of treatments, responses, and patient education.
6. Collaboration: Work with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care.
7. Medication Management: Prepare and handle medications safely, verifying correct dosages.
8. Safety and Quality Control: Follow sterile techniques, infection control, and safety protocols.
9. Inventory Management: Monitor medication supplies and coordinate with pharmacy staff.
10. Support for Specialty Medication Services: Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes.

Requirements:

• College degree or equivalent experience
• RN license in your practicing state
• At least 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of ER/ICU/Infusion experience (preferred)
• Experience accessing PIV lines, ports, and PICC lines
• Infusion experience in hospital or home health setting (preferred)
