Job Overview: CSI Pharmacy is dedicated to providing specialty pharmacy services to patients with chronic and rare illnesses requiring complex care. Our Home Infusion RN will collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, and professionals to deliver high-quality treatments and care in patients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  1. Administer Infusions and Injections: Deliver specialty medications via IV, subcutaneous injections, or other methods, monitoring for adverse reactions.
  2. Patient Assessment: Review medical history, allergies, medications, and vital signs before, during, and after infusions.
  3. Education and Counseling: Inform patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, and emergency procedures.
  4. Patient Monitoring and Follow-up: Observe for reactions, schedule follow-ups, and adjust care plans as needed.
  5. Documentation: Keep detailed records of treatments, responses, and education provided.
  6. Collaboration: Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
  7. Medication and Safety Management: Handle medications properly, follow sterile techniques, and adhere to safety protocols.
  8. Inventory Management: Monitor medication supplies and coordinate with pharmacy staff.
  9. Support for Specialty Medication Services: Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes.
Qualifications:
  • College degree/Certification or equivalent experience.
  • RN license in the state of employment.
  • At least 2 years of RN experience.
  • 1 year of experience with ER/ICU/Infusion or accessing PIV lines, ports, PICC lines.
  • Infusion experience in hospital or home health setting preferred.
