What You’ll Do In This Role
  • Infuse patients at their homes, requiring travel to and from patient locations.
Administer Infusions And Injections
  • Administer medications via IV, subcutaneous injections, or other prescribed methods.
  • Monitor patients during infusions for adverse reactions.
Patient Assessment
  • Review medical history, allergies, and medications prior to treatment.
  • Assess physical condition and vital signs during treatment.
Education And Counseling
  • Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, and emergency procedures.
Patient Monitoring And Follow-up
  • Monitor for reactions during and after infusions.
  • Schedule follow-ups to assess patient progress.
Documentation And Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments, responses, and education provided.
Collaboration With Healthcare Providers
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.
Medication Management
  • Prepare and handle medications safely, verifying correct doses.
Quality Control And Safety
  • Follow sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
Inventory Management
  • Monitor medication stocks and coordinate with pharmacy staff.
Support For Specialty Medication Services
  • Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes.
Qualifications
  • College degree or certification, or equivalent experience.
  • RN with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Valid RN license in your state.
  • Experience with PIV lines, ports, and PICC lines (required).
  • Infusion experience in hospital or home health setting (preferred).

Additional requirements include passing a drug screen and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
