Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an experienced infusion nurse to provide direct patient care in home or alternate settings. The role involves initiating and adjusting plans of care, educating patients and families, and coordinating with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. Travel is required to meet patient needs, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and manages nursing plan of care; administers treatments and educates patients and families.
• Assesses patient needs at each skilled visit and updates physician orders as needed.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s to ensure patient safety.
• Delivers patient-centered teaching to promote independence with prescribed therapy.
• Communicates with the clinical team and documents care in real time for billing and continuity of care.
