Job summary

Geisinger in Danville, PA seeks a Pharmacy Consulting Services Clinical Specialist to lead clinical content and workflows for home infusion engagements with partner health systems. You will own business case development, implementation planning, and ongoing operational support with strong clinical expertise.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), licensure as a Pharmacist, at least 5 years of related experience, and the ability to travel up to 15% nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Licensed Pharmacist with applicable license.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads clinical aspects of home infusion business case development for partner health systems, implementation planning, and ongoing operational support.
• Provides clinical validation and support to data assumptions and analysis used to develop home infusion business plans.
• Develops best practice policies and procedures including clinical medication protocols for existing and new specialty infused products.
• Assesses, recommends, and implements frictionless workflows to ensure ease of referral to home infusion with standard documentation, informatics tools, and bi-directional communication.
• Develops staffing models and hours of operation based on economic volume indicators for clinics and discharges.
• Recommends and supports the implementation of business operations and workflow.
• Effectively engages with partner health system clinic stakeholders to inform business plan development.
• 15% nation-wide travel may be required.

Bachelor's Degree-Pharmacy (Required)
