Job summary

Naven Health is seeking a licensed Infusion Nurse I to provide direct patient care in home settings or alternative infusion sites, under close supervision. The role involves initiating care plans, administering therapies, and educating patients and families for safe, independent care.

You will collaborate with the Clinical team, document in real time, and assist with discharge planning while ensuring HIPAA compliance and alignment with Naven Health policies.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 0-2 years of infusion nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required (an in-person class).

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements basic nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each visit and updates plans as needed.
• Educates patients and families for independence with prescribed therapy and care needs.
• Communicates with the Clinical team, medical providers, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Prepares clinical documentation in real-time during visits and submits for billing timelines.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares summaries for transfer of care.
• Ensures compliance with agency policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Uses technology to validate orders and track visit schedules.
• Responds to patient requests and initiates emergency procedures when necessary.
• Provides supervision and mentoring to other nurses as applicable.
