Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a Home Infusion Nurse (RN) in New York to deliver safe IV therapies, monitor patients, insert IVs across age groups, and educate patients and caregivers with empathy and clear communication.

You will collaborate with physicians and leadership to adjust care plans, document thoroughly, and support scheduling and patient flow. A NY RN license and IV proficiency are required, with a strong patient‑centered approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted RN license to practice in New York State.
• Proficiency with IV insertions across age groups, PICC and Port-a-Cath management.
• Experience delivering high-quality patient care and supporting patient satisfaction.
• Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office, EHR systems).
• Knowledge and experience using IV pumps.
• Ability to communicate professionally and advocate for patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intravenous infusion therapy safely and effectively in an infusion suite setting.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after infusions, managing reactions as needed.
• Perform IV insertions across age groups (peripheral, PICC, Port‑a‑Cath).
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers to reduce anxiety and improve understanding.
• Support nurse manager with patient assessments and education initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team for holistic patient needs.
• Manage infusion scheduling and patient flow.
• Aim for positive outcomes through compassionate communication and high standards.
