Liberty Nursing Agency Inc in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion Nurse to deliver infusion therapies in patients' homes. This role rewards independence, compassionate care, and strong clinical judgment in a patient-centered setting.

As part of a team focused on quality and safety, you will administer IV therapies, monitor responses, educate families, and coordinate with physicians. A NJ RN license and 1–2 years of infusion or home health experience are preferred, with training

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• 1–2 years infusion therapy, IV therapy, or home health nursing preferred.
• Peripheral IV insertion proficiency; Port/PICC experience a plus (training provided).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusion therapies in patients' homes (antibiotics, hydration, IVIG, specialty meds).
• Assess, monitor, and document patient responses; report changes.
• Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, central lines).
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and home care protocols.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams for seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per regulatory standards.
• Manage infusion supplies for each patient visit.

• Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to infusion treatments and report changes in condition
• Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral and central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, central lines)
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and home care protocols
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and agency standards
• Manage infusion supplies for each patient visit

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1-2 years of infusion therapy, IV therapy, or home health nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion (Port and PICC experience a plus, will train)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visit travel
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible patient schedule
