Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a Home Infusion Technician to support pharmacists by preparing sterile medications for home delivery, maintaining clean ISO areas, and assisting with patient care coordination under supervision.
The role requires an Oregon pharmacy technician license, 2 years of experience or equivalent, and certification from PTCB or NHA. Strong aseptic technique and attention to accuracy are essential.
This position provides technical support to pharmacists through preparation of intravenous admixtures, unit doses, inventory management, and preparation of Home Infusion deliveries. Home infusion technicians working this shift are responsible for ensuring accountability and accuracy of standard operations procedures in home infusion pharmacy. Position works under direct supervision of a Pharmacist who is responsible for the safe and proper distribution of medication to home infusion patients.
Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals and noise. Flexibility in scheduling of shift times. Accountability for accuracy associated with performance of the duties to this position.
