Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to deliver in-home hospice and euthanasia services across Maryland’s Baltimore area. You will work on the road, independently, with strong mentorship and ongoing training.

Enjoy flexible scheduling (2–5 days per week) and the ability to choose weekends to fit life outside work. This role offers a generous base salary, quarterly bonuses, full benefits, and a self-managed scheduling option.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification and background check prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
• Practice independently on the road with mentorship and team support.
• Schedule flexibility with 2–5 day weeks and self-managed options.
