Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's St. Mary's Home Health division is seeking a Speech Therapist to assess and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.

You will develop a personalized care plan and guide patients and families through therapy to improve well-being. Responsibilities include evaluating function, delivering targeted interventions, documenting progress, and collaborating with the health care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• CPR certification (preferred within 90 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services within scope of practice and plan of care.
• Evaluates function and assists in developing therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities.
• Observes and reports progress to supervisor and physician.
• Instructs patient, family, and caregivers in speech therapy techniques.
