Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to speech, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing outcomes.
• Provide services within scope of practice and in coordination with the health-care team.
• Observe and report patient progress and changes to supervising staff.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and home exercises.
