Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and plan of care.
• Evaluates function and assists with therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
• Observes, records, and reports patient progress to the nurse/physician.
• Instructs patient, family, and care team in speech therapy techniques.
