Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing speech therapy.
• Evaluates patient function and assists physician in therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to communicate effectively according to condition and standards of practice.
• Observes, records, and reports patient response to treatment to supervising nurse/physician.
• Instructs patient, family, and other health care team members in speech therapy areas.
