Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver adult home health services in Baton Rouge. This full-time daytime role emphasizes prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders with AAC support for adults in the home setting.

The position offers a competitive salary range and comprehensive benefits. A state license and CCC-SLP are required; CPR certification is preferred; prior home health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state you are assigned.
• CCC-SLP certification with graduate coursework and clinical practicum in an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for deaf or hard of hearing and implement AAC systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
