Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in patients' homes across Alabama. You will evaluate and treat language, speech and swallowing disorders under an attending physician.

Candidate must hold a current SLP license in Alabama and a valid driver's license, with dependable transportation and insurance. Travel to multiple locations daily is expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting under a physician's care.
• Work in homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care as needed.
• Treat language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, and related communication needs.
• Assist patients with stroke and progressive conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
