Job summary

PARS Therapy in La Vernia, TX is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our patient-centered team. The role involves delivering direct therapy per physician orders, designing engaging exercises, and supporting patients and families throughout treatment.

Requirements include CCC-SLP with active Texas licensure, a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, and proficiency with clinical documentation systems.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification and Texas licensure required.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Experience with clinical documentation systems and patient records.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to perform duties primarily in standing position.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Design and implement engaging, evidence-based exercises tailored to each patient’s goals.
• Provide counseling, education, and support to patients and families throughout treatment.
• Establish measurable goals and track patient progress, identifying improvements and ongoing challenges.
• Ensure proper setup, use, and sterilization of speech therapy equipment.
• Review patient records prior to sessions to develop a clear, personalized treatment approach.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology.
