Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) for Home Health to deliver evaluative, consultative, and therapeutic services to patients in their homes. We offer both full-time and part-time positions and a new Pay Per Point model that ties compensation to visit complexity and time spent outside of visits.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, complete evaluations, and manage plans of care, while documenting in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license in state of practice
• Graduate of ASHA-accredited program; foreign-trained candidates must have equivalence verified by a credentials evaluation organization approved by ASHA

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluative, consultative, and treatment interventions to home health patients in their place of residence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and physicians to develop and manage the plan of care
• Complete evaluations and treatments within policy timelines and document appropriately
• Maintain clinical records to meet regulatory requirements and ensure compliance
• Participate in training/orientation and support other staff as needed
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain licensure and certifications
